I invite you to hike in our annual fundraising event-
The Hike for Hope 2018
It is on Saturday, May 19th at Del Valle Regional Park in Livermore
Net proceeds from The Hike for Hope enable Hope Hospice to compassionately serve hundreds of families in the East Bay as they chart their path while dealing with a loved one's final journey.
My family has personally experienced the professional and caring services provided by Hope Hospice which ultimately improved the quality of life for my father during the last months of his life. As a non-profit organization Hope Hospice is dependant upon each of us, as community members, to contribute toward making our community's end of life experiences more caring, fullfilling and meaningful to those affected by a loved one's fnal months. Hope Hospice will not turn anyone away for the lack of means to pay for their services.
The employees and volunteers of Hope Hospice have positively impacted the lives of people living in our community through their selfless dedication, knowledgeable care, compassion and kindness - They made the end of life experience for my father more bearable - making an incredibly difficult situation as my dad passed seem almost...normal. Our experience was like everything happened as it was supposed to happen - with a sense of calm, a sense of normalcy and a sense of purpose.
Please take an hour out of your busy schedule and join us on Saturday, May 19th. When you hike and raise funds for Hope Hospice, you help give other families in your community hope for normalcy and purpose as they face a loved one's final journey.
I would like you to join us as a Hiker and help Hope Hospice care for more patients and their families this year?
