Thank you for visiting the Team Roger page. We are walking to honor the memory and celebrate the life of Roger Royers, who lost his battle to cancer almost four years ago. Roger was best known for his story telling and incredible sense of humor. And even in his final days, he still found ways to make others smile. He was kind and generous and loved the outdoors. What better way to honor Roger than to be outdoors and raising funds for a worthy cause.
Roger's last few months he was in excruciating pain. At the hospital they could control it but on our own it was unmanageable. I am so thankful for Hope Hospice and what they did for Roger. They made his last few weeks as comfortable as possible. They were patient, loving and supportive. It didn't matter what time I called, if I needed help, they arrived. Roger was able to pass at home with me and the dogs, which was what he wanted more than anything. I will be forever grateful.
We are walking to honor Roger and to celebrate his life. We are walking to help raise funds for Hope Hospice so that they can continue to provide their services to families in need.
Thank you for your support!!
